SPARK Breaks
Throughout the day, our students take SPARK breaks to help with managing attention.  Dr. John Ratey's work illuminated the connection between learning and exercise (Spark: The Revolutionary New Science of Exercise and the Brain, 2008).  SPARK breaks are a time for our students to get their heart rate elevated and their blood pumping, resulting in increased focus and attention.
