Community Service & CORE
Community service is not just something we do every once in a while at CORE Community School - it is an integral part of our school life.  By serving our community, our students gain perspective, develop compassion and learn to express gratitude.  We strive to help our students genuinely understand the importance of helping others and giving back, as well as to feel the joy these experiences provide.  We take pride in providing our students with these opportunities as we work to strengthen our community.

We spend our Fridays out in the community — learning about and giving back to different organizations.
Here are some of the organizations we have worked with so far:

  • C3 Cherokee
  • Papa's Pantry
  • Therabeat Music Therapy
  • SERV International
  • Art of Living Studios
  • Cherokee County Animal Shelter
  • Reinhardt University
  • Canton Community Garden
  • Changed 2 Ministries
  • Goshen Valley Boys Ranch
  • Rooted in Love
  • The Children's Haven
  • Bread of Life Ministries
