Andi Curcio
Law Professor, Georgia State University College of Law Andi Curcio has been a law professor for over 25 years. She has won numerous teaching awards and engages in scholarship and research about learning theory and legal education. Her daughter had learning challenges and was taught and coached by Annie at The Howard School. She benefited from working with cutting edge educators like those at the CORE Community School, and thus, has a strong commitment to CORE’s philosophy and mission. |
Dianne DePuy
Business Development Executive, Maximo Consulting Services Over the last 25 years, Dianne has held regional and global positions in operational management, sales and business consulting services with IBM and Ernst and Young, as well as smaller technology companies. In addition to her business career, the dynamic nature of Dianne’s work responsibilities has afforded her the ability to engage in supporting the foster care community in North Georgia. As a mentor, volunteer and prior board member of Goshen Valley Foundation, Dianne saw first-hand the important role individual history, culture, background and life circumstances play in decision making and personal interaction. |
Dave Johnston
CFO of Coldwater Veneer, Inc. Dave worked from 1970 – 91 in public accounting in the Indianapolis, Indiana area. Since 1992, he has been in the hardwood veneer and lumber business as the Chief Financial Officer of a 6-company group headquarters in Coldwater, Michigan. The group is comprised of a veneer mill in Michigan and 5 sawmill/kiln operations in Indiana, Kentucky and Missouri. |
Dana Salter
Associate Director, Crim Center for Urban Educational Excellence; Georgia State University Dana E. Salter has been a national and international educator focusing on designing culturally responsive digital/multimedia learning environments for historically underserved communities for over 20 years. As the Associate Director of the Crim Center, she supports the Center’s research, outreach and professional development activities in the metro Atlanta areas, as well as coordinating operations and logistics for the Center. She is the co-author of the book, Community-based Multi-literacies and Digital Media Projects: Questioning Assumptions and Exploring Realities (Peter Lang, 2014). Dana is currently co-writing a book on the intersection of public health, social justice and education. In addition, Salter is a producer and filmmaker in Atlanta, GA and the co-founder of Gaby and Dana Make Film Productions, a company focused on creative content about and by women in the American South. Salter worked with Annie for several years at The Howard School, where they collaborated to initiate many programmatic components that still exist today. |
