CORE Summer Vocational Program
CORE Community School's Summer Vocational Program offers hands-on, real-life job experiences tailored specifically for high school students with diverse learning and social-emotional needs. Students will gain practical skills through work experiences in carpentry, retail, food service, and various other trades. Beyond vocational training, the program emphasizes social skill development, mentorship, mindfulness, and reflective practices, enriched by fun and educational field trips. Each session runs Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM–3:00 PM, headquartered at the CORE Community Farm (818 Arnold Mill Rd, Woodstock, GA 30188), with daily transportation to diverse job sites. Lunch is thoughtfully prepared each day by students and staff. Session dates are June 9–27 and July 7–25, priced at $750 per session or $300 per week. |
CORE Summer Art Camp 2025
Unlock creativity at CORE Community School's vibrant Summer Art Camp, led by the acclaimed professional artist and CORE teacher, Betsy Oh! Students will explore a variety of artistic mediums including sculpture, painting, drawing, and multimedia projects. Located at 203 Woodpark Pl, Woodstock, GA 30188, the camp provides an inspiring space for young artists to grow and experiment. Two tailored sessions are available: Ages 8–13 attend from June 9–13, while ages 14 and older participate from July 21–25. Each engaging session runs daily from 9:00 AM–1:00 PM, offering personalized instruction for $300 per session. |
CORE Summer Camp (Grades 3–8)
CORE Community School's Summer Camp fosters confidence, community engagement, and social-emotional growth for children in grades 3–8. Hosted at the scenic CORE Community Farm at Lakeview (818 Arnold Mill Rd., Woodstock), campers participate in a diverse range of enriching activities designed by CORE teachers, including art, drama, STEM explorations, mindfulness exercises, hiking, kayaking, water sports, and meaningful community service trips. This inclusive, empowering experience is structured into two exciting sessions: June 9–27 and July 7–25, from 9:00 AM–3:00 PM daily. Pricing is set at $750 per session or $300 per single week. |
